okami_huWhat is 7Seas?
It's an Final Fantasy 7 AU we're working on, 'we' meaning![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kira_k and okami_hu. The basic idea is a change in the time period, placing the story in a setting similar to the state of Earth in the 18th century, where Sephiroth is a renowned captain of the ship H.M.S. Midgar.
The characters are mostly IC, except in a few cases, where the completely different background produced inevitable changes. Sephiroth actually grew up quite peacefully, without being constantly examined and Hojo kind of cared for him. Zack's constant influence also affected him, so he's sane and stable here, able to smile and laugh, albeit some cruelty still lurks in him. Tseng is a bit softer and lets his passionate nature show instead of being all calm and composed. Growing up as a lover could do that to anybody.
The random names such ar Ryle and Gunner refer to the BC Turks, Male Martial Arts and Male Two Guns, respectively.
