I'm stunned speechless.

So, I took my nightshift Tuesday off, to see the dentist. She wanted to pull one of my teeth out.

So I go there at half past four, I get my injections alright, and she started to fish in my mouth. Problem is, the crown part is completely broken off and she should have pulled the roots out - but she couldn't get to them. About fifteen minutes and four various instruments later, she gave up and told me that I should see a specialist with it. I have to go to the city for it, but they take patients all night so yeah, awesome.

(Before you start to bawl your eyes out, note that I basically didn't feel anything. Fo' reals.)

So Dad drove me to the city, we go in and they told us that the afternoon shift is JUST ending, and the night shift starts at half past eight. At that moment, it was half past six. So after a brief debate, we drove home, idled for a while, then drove back.

We got there early, they took my ID, Social sec card, and after fifteen minutes, they called me in. And then it turned out that the specialist treatment has no night shift; there's only a regular dentist. =3

So now I can get up at six in the morning, take public transport, because there won't be any parking places at that time, and the treatments start at eight, ending at eleven. There's not even any guarantee that I'll get treated during that interval. At ten in the evening, work starts.

Awesome.

On another note, the books usually make the Jedi seem way more powerful than they are in the movies or animation.

Shit got real. It’s amazing, but I don’t necessarily need to like it. If anything happens to Rex, the Goddess help me, I’m going to throttle the first guy from the staff I come across on ComicCon. That does not include the VAs of course. Holy shit, Dee Bradley Baker is making a superb job here. And maybe the animators will be spared, too. My heart clenched at every moment I was able to tell what a clone thinks even though he had the helmet on.

After 12 hours of marching through rough terrain, taking a direct route to the capital one needs to siege and ‘engage whatever we encounter’ is a bad strategy. Even I know that.

What do you ask from prizemakers who only do badly copied Disney / Sailormoon-based anatomy pics...? >> I already told one girl I don't WANT a tote bag. (At least she does decent chibies, maybe I can have one.)

(Do not congratulate me, I'm not winning because I'm that awesome. I win because I'm the best artist in the whole group, and that's not saying much. Well, at least the best artist who actually DOES contest entries. There might be better people. They just never compete. I mean, this last contest had three entries. And the group has 157 members. The theme-poll had 62 votes total. Lazyasses. >( )

Is because all the cool people are there, posting porn, making up injokes, showering each other with love and trade artz, doing epic RPs and have fun.


And whenever I go there, I'm always reminded that I'm not one of the cool people.

Human beings generally like to belong. They need interaction and I'm not an exception to that.

So I join RPcomms and forums and chats, and have friends.

For a while.
