a drabble... and a challenge.

Allllrighty. It's my stupidity striking again. It's time for a drabble/ficlet challenge to start the new year.

Give me a character/pairing and a line of poetry/proverb/some random words/lyrics/etc and I'll try to write you a drabble or ficlet (100-500 words).

Fandoms: FMA animeverse (Couple exclusion: Hawkeye/Roy, Envy/Ed); X-men Evo!Verse (I may take requests on comic!Verses, excluding AoA and Exiles but keep in mind that I haven't read much this far.); Harry Potter (Let's stick to the Malfoys, okay...? I'm not getting Hermione.); Ronin Warriors; Vampire Hunter D; Lord of the Rings (I beg you, choose elves.), Final Fantasy 7 (NOT AC. Haven't seen it yet).

You have two weeks to claim.

And this is an X-men drabble which just hit me over the head. PG for the hint.


He feels like a trapped animal as the wolfish blue eyes gaze hungrily at him.
”Broken, beaten and yet, so pretty,” the soldier coos and Erik shivers. The gentleness is even worse than the beatings and humiliation.
„You seem young and yet, you’re tough. Sonderkommando, huh?”
Erik bows his head. He feels his face burning.
The cold fingers grab his chin and he jerks, involuntarily gazing into the German’s eyes.
„Are you hungry? If you do me a favor, I could get you something.”
Erik has a good guess, what that favor could be. That gaze tells everything.
He nods.

Hmm... I'm tempted to accept it. And offer a drabble/ficlet challenge back. My problem is that I don't have any pairing in mind and actually not a line of lyrics either. Well... I have one, but... I foresee it will lead to something with Dante and I don't want anything with Dante. Oo;

Anyway, that line of lyrics would come from "Sadie" by Alkaline Trio:

...Alright, that's more than one line, but... I don't know. XD; I like it.

Anyway, I'll go look for a good line of lyrics, since all the poetry has left my mind. And the pairing is not too specific, just something of FMA between two female characters, please. ^^ I know you're not a fan of Hawkeye, so it doesn't have to involve her. Surprise me. =P And... as long as it doesn't has any Dante in it. >> I don't like her. The rest is quite alright.

Now off to look for a lyric. And you think of something back, alright? ^^ *glomp*

I wish it. =P So come with something in return. ...And I guess I should ask you to keep it to FMA only. ._.; Since the other fandoms you offer are quite unfamiliar for me. ^^;

And now I'm really curious. XD Can hardly wait to see what you can write with that. =D *hugs*

(And I know you never said it, but I like to do things in return. ^^ And I realise it has been a hellish long time since I've written anything for friends, the Christmas fic for Nahuel not counted. XD; )

Well, I have something in mind... Dunno, it's possible that I'll scare you, but I'd really like to see something like this.

So the couple is Fury/Al and the line is "It can't rain all the time, the sky can't cry forever". Setting and rating is up to you. If I may add one more condition: manly Fury, please...?

Hmm... I think I have something in mind for that. Human Al, is that alright? *scratch* And I'll do my best with manly Fury. I'm not sure if I understand what you mean with it, but I'll do my best. I guess you don't want him squeamish, screaming and whining and such, but more... yeah, manly. XD;

I mean, not girly. Not the teary-eyed uke, or a damsel in distress, or like a nice mommy, but a man, who knows he's a man. Gentle but proud, who has faith in himself and his abilities and does not hesitate to protect his beloved ones but does this with calm and a professional air around him, not like SailorMoon, by throwing a fit and jump into harm's way with the Magic Tears of Salvation and with the Pink Ribbons of Love swirling around her sparkling body.

Jeez, I actually used to like that series. XDDD

And human Al. Armor Al would work as well but the spikes get into the... smut's way. ((No, you don't have to write smut if you don't want to. ^_^))

Alright, then I get the meaning. XD I ought to be able to do that. ^^ I hope. Oo Nah, probably can do it.

And yes, that's why I asked if human Al was alright. XD; I don't have anything against smut, but uhm... armor Al and smut is beyond my ability to write. Oo (Which somehow reminds me of someone else's comment: "That's what the toys are for." >>; )

And I'll see. =P I've got something cute in mind that should also fit the line. Without making Fury a girl. (And without making Al a girl. XD; I assume you want them both manly)
