Just seen Revenge of the Fallen on my 8,9" notebook in a grainy camver.
I think my eyes are going to fall out and I have a faint pain in my left temple - it'll possibly transform into a nasty headache later.
The movie is awesome. The usual great visuals, loooooooots of Bay!splodes and nice chars.
Skids and Mudflap weren't half as bad as I imagined, OP's still badass, even dead, I LOVED Screamer's voice - it's a classic; Megs is badass as well, the Fallen's a bitch and Hide's everybody's good old guardian. Bee is lovely as ever and Jetfire was funny. ^^ Mikaela's little friend had some awesome moments too, I hope to see him again. XD
The humans didn't take up too much time save maybe Sam's mom. Leo was just dragged along because he needed to be dragged along, it was only logical. Lennox's and Epps' presence was much appreciated and I literally squealed when Simmons showed up. XD
The humans' presence was needed, to show the coexistence efforts, which were always addressed before, but not quite played out before, save maybe in the later cartoon series', and i think even there the ties were already established, and the Earth governments were led by intelligent people.
That said, I'd have loved to have more names. We've seen countless Cons, Soundwave was not even named I think, nor the Con doc. Poor Jolt- You remember him? ^^ No, I can't, either. >> Sides didn't really have much role either. Ravage was really interesting on the other hand, and the open ending with all the still remaining Decepticon threats feels nice. I didn't catch any hints of Mikaela bringing along Sam's AllSpark fragment... So the Bots still have one, and Primus dammit, we better see them trying to bring Jazz back with it in the third part...! >< And... not sure if Unicron would be a good idea. Though, if it results in the 'Bots becoming able to rebuild their world and continue to exist as a species, so be it! That'd be an awesome ending for a trilogy. And just think about it - no humans in that one... >3 You can't shoot the Devourer of Worlds with standard airforce. XD
Besides, a lot of possible plotholes are explained in the additional comics - I have them and I'm willing to supply. It is understandable that they released information this way - the movie's long already, it would've been impossible to stuff everything into it. A few choice key points I gathered from Wiki: Alice's a Pretender, and she modeled herself after a theme park robotic doll. Bee's voice synthesizer was damaged again between the two movies in a fight with Screamer.
Any other questions, ask, and ye shall receive on the Meet. I'll be launching at the three comics as soon as I get home. >3
More info: The Con Doc's toy was named Scalpel, and the little toy-car 'former is called Wheelie. XD
