New year...

First time in a long while, I didn't spend my New Year's Eve with my friends. I was simply so exhausted, that I stayed home and slept. Because you don't go to a party to catch up on your sleep. Period.
So, here's the yearly summary though a little differentl, because I can't really remember what happened when, and my journal isn't much of a help. New year's resolution: make the journal more personal, make better use of writing journal. Buy better stuffz. Get laid.
In February, the new Knight Rider movie debuted and despite the fears and bitching we pulled off, it proved to be a very pleasant disappointment. It's quite awesome. ^^ I made my claim at
10_prompts, still waiting for confirmation.
In March, I got into the Cyborg 009 fandom, and I still love it. It's awesome. I was informed that some fucktard stole some of my stories and put them up on some shitty fanfic site. It took quite a while to 1, find the maintainers and 2, see any action done. One of my co-authored fics was rec'd on 4chan.
In April, I set up the
tfwip_4_chan. A Cyborg009 fanart of mine was displayed on an IMGboard. We had the Spring Sakuracon - success like every time. ^^ Eden Enchanted closed.
In May, I gave in and joined
omg_tf. T'was fun 'till it lasted, that one month.
In June, NK dropped out of my life. I miss her. I also miss the Dinoboys and her Autobot!Starscream. And her Tracks. And her Eject.
In July, I got my new SATA winch, and my machine collected some spyware, which severed my Internet connection. oo
August brought SG1 along, and our RP. ^^
In September, I got a job. At the Post; I work with the huge scanner machines, archiving the bills ppl use to send money with to each other. No idea why they can1t do it through the Net... Especially when they're paying for Internet services. I also got to know Girl Genius and I rekindled my passion for Steampunk.
In October, I embraced the TF2 fandom. Despite the sorta rocky start, I have no regrets; it gave me a chance to take a huge step forward with my anatomy skillz.
In November, I tried NaNoWriMo. Failed spectacularly. Not minding it a bit.
In December, I spent a SHITLOAD of money on doujins. ^^ Still waiting for them, as they were shipped around the holidays. PayPal seems to have a limit of $100/day. Or not. They're awesome, but they don't have an honest FAQ.
Well, so much about 2008. Now I can learn the new date. XD
