Ssso. Like every occasion,

People are incorrigible idiots. It was clearly explained, where you can enter, depending on how you bought your ticket, and from WHEN – 10 o'clock. Naturally, numerous fuckers tried to come in before the event opened. This year, we found evidence of false tickets, too. I hope whoever made it/them, will die a slow and painful death and hollows will chew on his/her eternal soul until the end of time.

The drawing contest is not your personal advertisement forum. Period.
The Chinese came in a thrine this year, so we haven't really get free stuff. Still, when I bought a keyring, the guy said, it's one thousand. When I showed him the Chad figurine I wanted to buy too and asked for the price, after a moment of thinking he said I can take it. XD I love the Chinese.
Manga report: I haven't had Phantom Judge 8 and 9, and 10 came out for the Con. I managed to snatch them for 1000 each, instead of the 1500 printed on them. Princess Ai's follow-up, 'Rumors from the Other Side' debuted as well, and I heard ppl be ing shocked that the styles didn't match. LOL, this book is produced by at least a dozen of different mangakas, each little story by a different one. Maybe that's why…? I got a discount on this one too, because I'm
I bought Midnight Opera 3 (vampire story of a German-born mangaka), and the VERY FIRST BL MANWHA TRANSLATED TO HUNGARIAN: Devil's Bride vol1. The style takes some time to get used to, but the chibified chars are insanely adorable, and the story is interesting. A demon wants a bride, and he gets a young boy. The boy likes the demon, but he has a mortal illness. When he dies, the demon resurrects him, but the boy – Ley – is merely a walking corpse. The demon decides to get the missing parts – lively eyes, beating heart, emotions – from humans, who'd be willing to sell their souls. The demon has a friend, named Jya, who is all tall, dark and cooooool, and he picks up a tiny newborn angel one day near his friend's house. He currently plans to eat the little angel once it gets bigger, but we all know how stories like this end… XD
New stuff came out for Bizenghast and Tarot Café, too, and a shitload of others I didn't spare a glance to.
((Newsflash: while I'm writing, there's lightning outside; I hope it won't be too bad. OO))
This year, we didn't place the Chinese into the smaller corridor's corner, so the 'Hallway of D00m' did not occur. Instead we had 'Pits of D00m': right before every stand, which sold anime merchandize. One shop had badges – I wanted a Bleach one, preferably with Renji, but I couldn't get there soon enough.
We had a special guest, a doujinshika, who was drawing pics for request; but only adorable little lolis. Now, I LIKE lolicon, but… Shota beats it for me. >> Still, I took a few pics – the best one is the two lolis with the Trabant. XD For those who don't know: the Trabant was a crappy little vehicle, somewhat car-shaped, but made of plywood, and had a two-stroke engine. The official nickname for it was 'soap dish'.
The first day, there was the Cosplay Craftmanship contest, so you could see the craziest stuff around. There were an astonishing amount of what I dubbed the 'chained bitches' – gothic lolitas led around by each other on collar and leash. Last year that only one pair I've seen was cute – now it was just obnoxious.
I was cosplaying too, 003 from the story Cyborg 009. Nobody knows that show aside my friends to whom I talk about it constantly.
The AMV contest gave us a few good laughs. Somebody made an FMA vid to a Hungarian song, which's title loosely translates to 'Make Breakfast Not War'. 'Nuff said. XDDD It was hilarious. Then there was another one from some anime with big mechas, sexy uniforms and a guy, whose right eye looked quite funny. I WANT to see that show. And the song was pretty freakin' cool, too. Another good one was a Trinity Blood vid to a song from the musical 'Dance of the vampires'.
András and Zoli and I were watching another Trinity Blood stuff, and we recalled everything about the show aside its title. XD We were like "It has that Gyula vampire. Uh, yeah, marquis or something? What's his name? Err…. Gyula Kádár, yeah! There's Budapest in it and the tank rolling on Chain Bridge. Yepp, and they flee from the tanks with a Trabant. Not that they couldn't, even the Trabant is faster than a tank… It has that Abel, Abel Nightrod. But what was the F-king TITLE?? O_o András, you've watched it!!"
The Saturday was pretty uneventful, actually. Even when we visited the nearby McDonalds, the ppl there weren't too thrilled by me, but I've found out that the NaruTards were ahead of us, so that's why. Once you've seen a Naruto cosplayer, you've seen everything. I even spotted one Akatsuki with a piece of paper hanging from the back of its neck and it read 'Itachi's sex toy'.
…I think this is all I can post now; more coming up tonmorrow. XD Until that, you can see some photos here: http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y61/okami_hu/Cosplay/Sakuracon%202008%20Spring/
