Nicholas can be a half-Ishbalite. I assume, he lived on the border with his mother and his only chance for a better life - without breaking the law - was to join the military. It is okay if you don't want to draw him, I'll do that. ^_^ Also, feel free to post your ideas anywhere. It's not like I reserve the rights of a particular design for this game only. The idea is yours alone.
Why don't you have AIM or MSN? If your machine can deal with them, they are very useful. But if not, I hope we'll have a whole discussion board for this game soon, you'll be most welcomed there.
By the "few rounds", I meant some RP, smaller ficcies starring Fury and Nicholas - an opportunity for the latter to get introduced. Actually, Nicholas (do you have a per name for him...?) could be the mechanic of the Führer's car. His rank is either the same or a bit higher than Fury's.
I can't say anything about those characters who are not taken. Their backgrounds will depend solely on their future players as I don't want to force something on anybody - Scar being Lust is more than enough.
Concerning the two chars per player, I fear I'll have to allow it as RPs usually don't get enough attention - and not enough players. If you know others who might want to join, feel free to pimp this idea.
As for the OCs: you're right of course, in any other fiction, only the developed OCs could hold their ground. I'm not agains the development, I'm against the OCs, at least in this game. There will be some faceless people around like soldiers, doctors, villagers and the like but I don't want other character have a major role, which wasn't invented by Arakawa. Nicholas already borders these rules - I think he will have to become Greed to justify his existence.
