Most likely they are different aspects of liking someone..." Sounds a little... funny. If you add a "because" there, it will become " ... Most likely because they are different..." Umm... that's my view on it... ^^;;

So I'll say it was the tone of his speech. But like what I've said, it might be caused by the awkwardness he felt. Oh well, how I love contradicting myself. >.>
