Ummm. I've never thought reading summaries alone will get me into crying (no, not the good type of crying...), but I'm wiping my tears right now.
Stop raping the Phantom of the Opera fandom, people...? Pretty please with a cherry on top...?
Yeah, a week ago, I've seen the Phantom of the opera, and it's damn good. It also made me realize a few things. Guys, there's no such thing as Erik/Raoul. MAKES NO SENSE. DOES NOT COMPUTE. Also, the Phantom is not okay in the head. Christine actually LOVES Raoul. Erik does not fall in love on a daily basis.
I SO would like to write a PG fluffy Erik/Christine, taking place during their practice sessions. I'm also tempted to come up with a Phantom on my own, somehow fixing the poor thing to have my cake and eat it, too- Maybe he's just scarred? Burned? As a fangirl I am, I'm also considering that maybe there's nothing wrong with him at all, but I know that would make me just as much of a rapist, as the people are with their 'Sues, loveydoveyEriks and abusive Raouls. Not to mention the nowadays settings, where Christine is a cheap bar dancer.
It sounds somewhat icky, but guys, Erik could be very well a virgin. Come on, disfigurement and all...?
PS: Somebody should look after our 'Dance of the Vampires' tickets. I hear people are already buying and reserving them, and if I won't get any, I'll go berserk.
