Journey
It’s like a circle, like a serpent biting into its tail. The years pass and the journey never ends; sometimes he settles down for a time but a mysterious force always chases him away.
Sometimes, the blond man thinks. Why is it so? Is it wanderlust? Then, it shouldn’t hurt.
Is it the thirst for knowledge? Then, it shouldn’t get tiring.
There is another possible answer but Hohenheim is afraid to think about it. Yet, he feels that it’s true; he’s running from responsibility and commitment. Because a madman like him is condemned to repeat the mistakes of the past.
