"Catatonic. If we can't get him out of this state, he'll die from deprivation."
"The Spark...?"
She lowered her head. "It'll die. We don't have the means to preserve it."
The samurai's fingers tightened on the handle of his sword. He glanced to the side, where the black Con was sitting, with the Junkion in his lap. "Swish hungry..." the little red mech whined.
"We all are," Crosshair growled, though he wasn't angry, merely resigned. "Primus damn them and deny their Sparks from entering the Matrix..."
"Enough!" Aquablast tilted her head up. "Cursing will not save us. Sunny needs help, and his child... too." It still felt shocking to say out loud.
"She's right," Arclight nodded. "My ship is small, but it served me right. We do have a proper converter; if we use it right, it'll sustain us. We will not be defeated!" He looked up at the distantly shining planet, where his supposed-to-be mate lived still... "We'll probably never come back. But we will live on."
