I don't like Hawkeye, and I doubt I would like her after writing some... She is too neat, organised, planned for me. And it's the same as it was with some other characters in some other fandoms: she was overhyped. The more the fans try to make me love her, the more I won't bend.

1984 wasn't confusing or boring, and it fascinated be. His theories and the possibilities are very interesting, and in East-Central Europe they are a little more, than simple theories and more like realities... However I didn't like Orwell's style of writing, and I don't know why. And yes, I read and like Shakespeare. And Poe, and Byron, and Tolkien, and the Beowulf, etc. :) We can discuss Shakespeare if you want it. :D
But I didn't really want to know the person who forgot about me, and told my friend to go to hell. I just want to know the basics. 100 years ago was born a big poet in Hungary, his name is Attila József - probably you heard about him. His words/part of a poem/ are these: "Who knows me, and loves me/only those should read my poem" They have a grain of truth in them. :)
Everyone is given an equal chance in doing anything. Sorry, but I can't agree with you on this. Our talents, our place of living, our personality all change (for better or worse) our chances of doing something. So when I say I don't have a real chance of becoming an author, it's because I'm studying economics not literature like you. ;)
No, I didn't read the manga. I read the first two chapters, but that's all. I needed almost a year to finish watching the anime, and I doubt I'd be faster with the manga...
